In 1992, I joined with two others and assembled a team of writers, graphic designers, photographers, artists, poets, journalists, musicians, and popular culture enthusiasts. Together we created a magazine for the city of Chicago and beyond. The visual aesthetic of the periodical was to capture the forceful nature of Chicago’s very happening art/music/dining/nightclub scene.

Inspired by our work, writer Adam Langer drafted a play, “The Blank Page.” He later wrote, directed and co-produced the screenplay as a film.
